Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a series titles Returns of Military Organizations, ca. 1800 - 12/1916 in the Records of the Adjutant General's Office, 1762-1917 (Record Group 94) that includes a file unit titled Return of casualties of the 13th U.S. Cavalry on the March 9, 1916, "Pancho Villa" raid. We also located two series titled Muster Rolls, 1901 - 1918 and Lists, Letters, Orders, and Reports, 1901-1916 of the 13th Cavalry Regiment in the Records of U.S. Regular Army Mobile Units (Record Group 391). We were unable to locate specific records of the Machine Gun Company. Records of lower echelon units sometimes were incorporated into the files of the regiment. For access to and/or copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at Washington, DC - Textual Reference (RDT1) via email at archives1reference@nara.gov.
In addition, we located a series titled Records of Cavalry Regiments, 1916-1937 in Record Group 391 that includes documents pertaining to the 13th Cavalry. For access to and/or copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
