Dear Mr. Schneider,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the series Program Formulation Files Relating to the Balances, Expenditures, and Revenues of the General Fund, 1950-1968 (A1 2243) in the Records of U.S. Occupation Headquarters, World War II (Record Group 260), U.S. Civil Administration of the Ryukyu Islands (USCAR), Comptroller Department, in which we located a file unit titled 1946-51 Truck Rental Ledger - 1951 Yen Budget. It may contain the information you seek. For access and/or copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
As far as the LST-610 is concerned, in 1951 the Department of the Army destroyed all manifests, logs of vessels, troop movement files, and most of the passenger lists of U.S. Army transports for World War II and post-WWII.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
