          Dear Mr. Sanderson,

Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the Logbooks of U.S. Navy Ships and Stations, 1941 - 1983 in the Records of the Bureau of Naval Personnel (Record Group 24) that include the deck logs of the USS Annapolis (AGMR-1) from its commissioning on 7 March 1964 through its decommissioning on 20 December 1969.  The majority of this ship’s logs for these years have been digitized and are available online through the Catalog.  Please note that the Catalog does not always list deck logs in chronological order.

For access to and/or copies of the deck logs for September 1965, October 1965, November 1965, and March 1966, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov. When you contact them, please be as specific as possible about which dates you need.

We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
