Greetings. Your relation is buried at the Chalmette National Cemetery in New Orleans in site 9678. His military service records, located at the National Archives state that he was discharged from his regiment on 05 Sept 1865. He died of remittent fever on 31Oct 65 at the Corp d'Afrique General Hospital near New Orleans.
