Is it possible to know in what part of the county a person was living on the 1850 census. My relative, Nancy Anderson with her 3 children are page 342 (hand-written), or page 172 (the stamped number), or page 20 of the National Archives microfilm. They are dwelling 141 and family 141. But the district at the top of the page is not filled in. The district in the book before this one on the microfilm is Leesburg and the district on the one after this book is Round Hill. The only thing I could find was the handwritten number 49 was in the blank for the district. The Assistant Marshall was Hall. Again, is there a way to know what this district was?
Thanks for any help or advice.
