3 people found this helpfulDear Mr. Skogen,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a series titled Muster Rolls and Personnel Diaries, 1941-1980 in the Records of the U.S. Marine Corps (Record Group 127). The unit diary portion of the muster roll should indicate when members of the 3rd Battalion, 26th Marine were wounded or killed in action. For access and/or copies of unit muster rolls that are part of series listed above, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!

If it is could you walk me through it? I did send a request off, but found out it will be 3 weeks before I can even check on progress. Apparently you know your way around, I wish they would make these sights more simple for us tech illiterate folks. Thanks
