Dear Ms. Pollat,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a Thelma Murray Eaton in the Population Schedules for the 1940 Census living in Coquille, Oregon and married to Leonard Eaton. Thelma and her family are on page 30 of the NARA 1940 Census Population Schedules for Coos County, Oregon. We were unable to locate Thelma Pauling Murray in the Population Schedules for the 1920 Census and the Population Schedules for the 1930 Census as digital images have not yet been added to the Catalog.
Therefore, we searched Ancestry and located a Thelma Murray in the 1920 census in Colorado and in the 1930 census in Nebraska. On FamilySearch, we located a 1936 marriage record for Thelma P. Murray and Leonard G. Eaton.
To view these records on Ancestry, there may be a fee. Or you may view the records online at one NARA's facilities for free via ALIC. For the nearest NARA location, please consult our web page at https://www.archives.gov/locations/. Many of the records are also available on FamilySearch for free.
You also may want to check the records at History Nebraska’s Library and Archives.
We hope this information is useful. Best of luck with your family research!
