Rita Reynolds Jul 2, 2019 11:05 AM (in response to Jason Atkinson)Hi Jason,
I asked for help locating an image of Charleston's Poorhouse because I couldn't locate one from any of the places you have so kindly suggested.
If you have any other suggestions I'd love to hear them.
Thanks so much.

Thank you for posting your follow-up request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog for records related to Charleston’s Poorhouse without success. The National Archives has limited photographs from the time period you are researching and few records related to non-federal institutions. Nevertheless, you can contact the National Archives at College Park - Still Pictures (RDSS) via email at stillpix@nara.gov and the National Archives at Atlanta via atlanta.archives@nara.gov to request a further search of their holdings. We also suggest that you contact the Library of Congress’s Prints and Photographs Division and the Smithsonian.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
