Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the series Unit Histories, 1943-1952 (Record Group 338) but were unable to locate your brother, Stephan Conti, in file units 3rd Infantry Division: General Orders A-B-C-D [4 folders] and 3rd Infantry Division: General Orders A-B [2 folders] for 1953. Please provide us with additional information from his DD-214 and we will gladly continue to assist you.
We hope this is helpful.

Thank you for posting your follow-up request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 42 file units of the 15th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division that are part of the series Unit Histories, 1943 - 1967 in the Records of U.S. Army Operational, Tactical, and Support Organizations (World War II and Thereafter) (Record Group 338). The Command Reports and General Orders may provide you with information about your brother’s unit and possible the awards. For access to these file units, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
