1 person found this helpfulDear Ms. Graham,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located a series titled Disallowed Claims Files, 1871-1880 of the Southern Claims Commission in the Records of the U.S. House of Representatives (Record Group 233). The files have not been digitized in the Catalog yet. For access to these records, please contact the Center for Legislative Archives (LL) via email at legislative.archives@nara.gov.
We also searched Fold3 and located a disallowed claim file for Amos A. Graham. It includes the questions asked and his answers. There may be a fee for using Fold3. Or you may view these records online at one NARA's facilities for free via ALIC. For the nearest NARA location, please consult our web page at https://www.archives.gov/locations/.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
