Seeking Journalists' files accredited to cover Vietnam War

    Newbie

Where can I find files of journalists accredited to cover the war in Vietnam by MACV - the Military Assistance Command-Vietnam? During the war in Vietnam the Military Assistance Command - Vietnam, or MACV, accredited journalists through its Office of Information.

I am looking for the files this office kept on the journalists, specifically from the years 1966 to 1970.

The head of the office during much of this time was Colonel Rodger Bankson, who was chief of information.

Thank you for any help. Elizabeth Becker

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 6 series pertaining to the accreditation of correspondents/journalists during the Vietnam War in the Records of the U.S. Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV), Information Office, Special Projects Division from May 1962 to March 1973.  For access to these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
