          We searched the National Archives Catalog for records pertaining to the U.S. Army Russian School (known as Detachment R) in Oberammergau Germany or the U.S. Army Russian Institute without success.

           

          We also searched the Defense Technical Information Center and located 82 documents that were written by the U.S. Army Russian Institute (formerly Detachment R).
