Seeking maps and info about 2/1 196 light infantry company D from April 1970 to April 1971 in Vietnam. Need help to locate news about what really went on while I was in country. The first fire base was Hawk Hill then LZ Baldy and so on. In Dec. 1970, we were in Happy Valley. Found a bunch of booby traps when tripped one that did not blow. We were reported in an article of Stars and Stripes and the division paper. Just looking for maps and orders or something that lets me know what we were doing for the year. Any help or directions for how to find info would be helpful.
