Where are records kept regarding births, marriages, etc which occurred at US Administered Displaced Persons Camps after WWII?

          Dear Mr. Salberg,

Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 20 series in the Records of the U.S. High Commission for Germany (Record Group 466); 206 series in the Office of Military Government for Germany in the Records of United States Occupation Headquarters, World War II (Record Group 260); 14 series in the Records of United States Army, Europe (Record Group 549) concerning displaced persons camps. Also the Records of the Displaced Persons Commission (RG 278) has 34 series that may contain the information you seek

For access to these series, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.

We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
