1 person found this helpfulDear Ms. Sicchitano,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
While a number of institutions have copies of the Carlisle Weekly Herald, the photograph was described but not reproduced in the newspaper. We were unable to find any information on the disposition of the photograph, however we did find an article from 2015 about Charles L. Lochman’s work as a photographer in Carlisle, PA. The article cites Richard Tritt, photo curator at the Cumberland County Historical Society, and Linda A. Ries. formerly of the Pennsylvania State Archives, who now works with the Pennsylvania Historical Association. We recommend contacting these organizations. Other institutions that may have information about him and any of his photographs that may have survived include the State Library of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research! -
