Dear Ms. Miller,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
If you are referring to the animal damage control program currently conducted by Wildlife Services of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service as described here there may be relevant records in Records of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (Record Group 463) and Records of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Record Group 22). We searched the National Archives Catalog for “Animal Damage Control” for the time period 1910-1919 and 1920-1929 and found the following records. We also searched for “predator and rodent control” for 1910-1919 and 1920-1929 and found the following records.
If you see a record listed in the Catalog that you wish to know more about, you can call, write, or email the archival unit listed in the contacts section of the description. You can also contact that United States Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Library.
If instead you are referring to another program, please let us know.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
