Thank you for posting your request on History Hub.
We searched the World War II Operations Reports, 1940 - 1948 in the Records of the Adjutant General's Office, 1905 - 1981 (Record Group 407) and located after action reports for 26-31 March 1945 of the 77th Infantry Division plus narratives for 26 March to 30 June 1945 and unit journals for 25 March to 25 May 1945 of the 306th Infantry Regiment. For access to and/or copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
The U.S. Army Center for Military History wrote OKINAWA: THE LAST BATTLE as part of their United States Army in World War II series in 2002. Chapter II -- The Invasion of the Ryukyus includes a section on the “Seizure of the Kerama Islands” that includes statistics of the action.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
