    Foreign Scientists

    Haley Kassum Newbie

Hi! I'm pretty knew to using the archives for finding sources...

I'm curious about Project Paperclip and came across this link of the dossiers for foreign scientists on the National Archives website

      https://www.archives.gov/files/iwg/declassified-records/rg-330-defense-secretary/foreign-scientist-case-files.pdf

Where could I go to find a list of the personnel that was brought to the United States from ONLY Project Paperclip?

      Thanks!

          Dear Ms. Kassum,

Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 45 series, 30 file units, and 5 items that pertain to Project Paperclip and scientists. As you can see, there are several listings of the scientists. For access to and/or copies of these series, file units or items, please check what unit of the National Archives has custody of the records. The name, address and email is located in the Archived Copies of each description. There are also 3 NARA websites/web pages listed as well.

We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
