Thank you for posting your request to History Hub!
It is possible that there were members of the Tennessee Militia who were not federalized. Records in National Archives custody relating to members of state militias who were federalized during the War of 1812 are found in the record series Carded Records Showing Military Service of Soldiers Who Fought in Volunteer Organizations During the War of 1812. Some of these records have been digitized and are available using the National Archives Catalog. For questions about these records, please contact the National Archives at Washington, DC - Textual Reference (RDT1) via email at archives1reference@nara.gov.
We called the Tennessee State Library and Archives and they informed us that microfilm copies of militia muster rolls for the State of Tennessee are in their custody. See here for their contact information. Additional resources are listed on the FamilySearch Research Wiki page for Tennessee in the War of 1812.We hope this information is helpful. Good luck with your research!
