Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the series Schedules of Census of Manufacturing Establishments, 1820 in the Records of the Bureau of the Census (Record Group 29). It has been microfilmed as M279--Records of the 1820: Census of Manufactures, 1820. The records and the microfilm are in the custody of the National Archives at Washington, DC (RDT1). For access to and/or copies of these records, please contact RDT1 via email at archives1reference@nara.gov.
“Digest of Accounts of Manufacturing Establishments in the United States, and of their Manufactures: 1820,” Publication 1823 may be available via the Census Library and at U.S. Government Depository Libraries. For a listing, please consult the Government Printing Office web site at https://catalog.gpo.gov/fdlpdir/FDLPdir.jsp.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
