We searched the National Archives Catalog for “surgery” and located 2 series and 7 files units

In the Records of the Office of the Surgeon General (Army) (Record Group 112). These textual records may include photographs of surgery being performed. For access to and/or copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park -Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.

We also located 26 films and 2 photos in the Records of the Office of the Chief Signal Officer (Record Group 111) using the same search criteria. For access to and/or copies of the films, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Motion Pictures (RDSM) via email at mopix@nara.gov. For access to and/or copies of the photographs, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Still Pictures (RDSS) via email at stillpix@nara.gov.
