Need USS Hancock Muster Rolls/Personnel Diaries from 1970

Need help on getting Navy Muster/Personnel diaries from USS Hancock 1970. My Cousin (Navy Vet) does not have proof that he went TDY from USS Hancock to Da Nang for 28 days. Only record he has is his DD 214 which states Vietnam and list 2 medals for Vietnam service, but is not accepted as proof as being in Vietnam. He was told his military records were destroyed by 1973 fire, but still sending a request to see if anything was recovered or found.

Can he request copies online? How? If not is there a place close to Northern Indiana where he can go to get copies? If so what is the process?

Is there a cost to get these records?

We searched the Records of the Bureau of Naval Personnel (Record Group 24) and located muster rolls of the USS Hancock (CVA-19) for January to December 1970. For access to or copies of these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via email at archives2reference@nara.gov.
