What are there sources? They provided no information in their writings?

Re: Resettlement of Anzio Civilians, Operation Shingle, 1944
Dave Kerr Feb 6, 2019 4:21 PM (in response to Christian Belena)I refined my search criteria last night and identified eleven LCI(I)L that evacuated nearly 3,700 refugees from Anzio.
No matches for LSTs, however.

Could you tell me which LCI(L)'s were involved in the evacuations?
That way I might be able to find which LCI Flotilla was involved?
Flotilla's kept separate records than the individual ships

The Royal Navy had a large number of Amphibious ships in the Med at that point in time, including their own LCI's and LST's. plus troop transports.
Movements could have been handled by these ships.

Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located several series pertaining to Operation Shingle. For access to these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) via archives2reference@nara.gov
In addition, the Naval History & Heritage Command has compiled the
Operation Shingle: Landing at Anzio, Italy and the U.S. Army Center of Military History compiled and digitized the pamphlet titled Anzio - 1944. Both may be useful in determining the units involved in the evacuation.
