Dear Mr. Davis,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located three series that may contain records of the three units you seek. In the Records of the American Expeditionary Forces (World War I) (Record Group 120), there are the Records of Pioneer Infantry Regiments, 1917 - 1919 and the Records of Prisoner of War Escort Companies, 1918 - 1919. In the Records of U.S. Regular Army Mobile Units, 1821-1942 (Record Group 391), there are the Records of the 1st Through 338th and the 559th Infantry Regiment, 1/1/1916 - 12/31/1921. All three series are in the custody of the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2). For access to or copies of these unit records, please contact RDT2 via email at email@example.com.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your family research!
My great grandfather went from the farms of Minnesota. He was stationed at Camp Wadsworth prior to being sent overseas. He was eventually transferred from the Pioneer Infantry, to the 6th Division MP Co.
