Looking for my great great grandmother, her parents & siblings

    Karen Price Newbie

Looking for information on my great great grandmother Rebecca Lampley she was born in Barbour County Alabama in 1854. I’ve looked at census 1860 records and can’t find her or her parents and her siblings. I found her again when she married Joseph Morris on April 17th 1875 in Louisville, Alabama

The National Archives has quite a few resources that may be able to help you in your search for your great-great-grandmother. Click on this link to view all of the resources open to genealogists, including census records that are available. Many of the census records have been digitized by the NARA partner, Ancestry. If you view these from home, you may have to pay for a subscription, but many libraries, archives, and all National Archives facilities will have access for free.

Best of luck with your research, and thank you again for contacting History Hub!
