3 people found this helpfulHello Ms. Jack,
Thank you for contacting the History Hub! We apologize for the delay in answering your question.
There are two series within the Record Group 75: Records of the BIA, 1793-1999. This group consists of items pertaining to the Bureau of Indian Affairs dealings with tribes and individuals. The National Archives holds student files for Chemawa School. These files contain grades, transcripts, correspondence with relatives, and reports of illness or disciplinary action. There are two categories of these files. The first, Student Files, ca. 1890 - 1975, consists of students who attended but did not graduate from the school. The second, aptly named Graduate Student Files, ca. 1894 - 1975, covers those who graduated from the institution.
You may request these records by visiting the National Archives at Seattle or emailing them at seattle.archives@nara.gov.
We hope this information has been helpful.
Sincerely,
Holly Rivet
