Do you have a name of a specific newspaper you are looking for?
If the newspaper is still around, contact their publisher. I'd also recommend contacting the De Sota Public Library, any university libraries in the region, and the Wisconsin Historical Society.
The Wisconsin Historical Society has this page specifically about their newspaper collection. https://www.wisconsinhistory.org/Records/Article/CS1590
The Library of Congress also has a resource the may be helpful. https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/
Finally, there are a number of paid subscriptions sites that provide access to old newspapers for a fee. The exact holdings of such websites vary from one to another and we can not recommend a specific one. I would recommend attempting to find out if a given paid subscription site has newspapers that might be relevant to your research before you sign up for one, and reading the terms and services very carefully before agreeing to any payments. Some of these subscription databases may be available for free through a nearby library, so you should also check if that is an option.
