      Hello NARA,

       

      Looking for guidance, need help determining the contents of NAID # 16747476, 173547. UD 35134A.

       

      Do the above records document history of units that were attached to the fifth army and if so how are they arranged.

          Dear Mr. Schneider,

           

          Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!

           

          We searched the series titled Files of the Military Historian, 1946 - 1963 which consists of two Federal Records Center (FRC) boxes (2 cubic feet or approximately 6,000 pages). The first FRC contains file units that consist of short histories (some published and some original records) of various units that were part of the Fifth Army from 1946-1963. There is no discernable arrangement to these files. The second FRC contains Adjutant General administrative files for 1955 that are arranged by the War Department Decimal File System.
