Thank you for contacting the History Hub.
It looks like he's listed in the records under both B.J. and R.J. If you live in Georgia your local library or historical society might have microfilmed copies of his service record.
You can also go to https://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/pre-ww-1-records and either order the records online or download the form and fill it in.

Thank you for contacting the History Hub. All Confederate records at the National Archives have been digitized on Fold3.com. Your ancestor's military service record is there as well. He was a substitute for Osburn Williams (also online). You will be able to view, print, or download.
Fold3.com is a subscription website, however, you may use it for free at any regional National Archives location or at most local libraries (call to verify first).
