Hello Mr. Bryning,
Thank you for contacting the History Hub regarding Confederate records. The majority of the Confederate records held by the National Archives have been digitized from microfilm. They can be viewed on Fold3.com or seen on microfilm at the Washington D.C. location. The remaining records can be requested in Washington D.C. research room.
State archives and large libraries also have collections of Confederate records available for research. Below are a few links to consider when looking for Confederate records.
