Thank you for contacting the History Hub!
Your query is best answered by the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, as they are the agency who provides copies of military records to families. To contact the NPRC, you can call them toll free at 1-866-272-6272 from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. You will also find other ways of contacting them on their Military Personnel Records page at https://www.archives.gov/st-louis/military-personnel.
We wish you all the best with your research. Thank you for your request!
Sincerely,
Katharine Seitz
