I am trying to surprise my husband by obtaining his air medal for his service to our country in the 1960's and 1970's. I received a request for his authorized signature, so I assume I will have to tell him of the surprise.
Does "authorized signature" mean we have to have his signature notarized? Or does he just need to send a letter signed by him, requesting his air medal??
Dear Sandy Alto,
Thank you for for contacting the History Hub. We cannot answer your question because we do not know the requirements of the specific agency you are working with. We recommend asking them about the signature.
We wish you the best with your research!
