There are two series held by the National Archives at College Park that might be pertinent to your research. The series Ship Engineering Drawings is in the custody of the Cartographic Branch (RDSC). The series Records Related to Ship Hull Design includes records pertaining to the USS Princeton’s sister ship, USS Independence (CVL-22), which was the lead ship of the Independence-class of light aircraft carriers. This series is in the custody of the Textual Reference Branch (RDT2). To request assistance with referencing these records, please contact their office via email at email@example.com.
