Thank you for contacting the History Hub!
We suggest that you search the World War II Combat Operations Reports, 1941 - 1946 in the National Archives Catalog. This series consists of the original mission reports pertaining to specific targets. These reports were filed by the units and sometimes include encounter reports by pilots, aerial photographs, and loading lists. If you locate a report of interest, please contact the Textual Records Archives II Reference Branch via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include RG 18, NM-6 7A, and the National Archives Identifier (NAID) for the file unit you are interested in. They will provide you with ordering information.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!

Have you contacted the Air Force Historical Research Agency, 600 Chennault Circle, Building 1405, Maxwell Air Force Base, AL 36112-6424? They have historical and mission reports that NARA doesn’t have. The web site is http://www.afhra.af.mil/.
