Seeking information on official government requirements for eastern European Jews to obtain a Visa to to enter US after WW2 - were there specific documents and process that had to be followed - was there a different process for those Jews who had been German citizens as compared to others from eastern Europe?
Visa records are located at National Archives at College Park and can be contacted by emailing them at Archives2reference@nara.gov
The National Archives has a page outlining records on World War II refugees and a good description of how to find visa records here. In addition, Family Search has a great Jewish Genealogy research page. I hope this helps your research.
