Thank you for sharing your question with the History Hub.
Records of the U.S. Army Electronics Command are part of National Archives Record Group 544: Records of the United States Army Materiel Command. The Textual Reference Branch at the National Archives in College Park, MD (Archives II) has custody of some potentially relevant records, including this series of Research and Development Item Case Files, this series of Research and Development Specifications Files, or this series of Research and Development Project Control Files. Further examples can be found here in the National Archives Catalog. Please note that some of these records are unprocessed. Some also have access restrictions and would require you (or the student you are assisting) to submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. You can contact the Textual Reference Branch at Archives II directly at archives2reference@nara.gov with questions about these records.
Thank you, again, for posting your question on the History Hub, and best of luck with your search!
