In our time engaging teachers and students with NARA's rich WWI films and photographs, we have produced a few resources that might be useful to institutions or others looking to engage this group with WWI. Please feel free to share with your networks!

      The app and content online

      • The Remembering WWI app gives teachers access to thousands of films and photographs from the WWI-era, shot by the Signal Corps in the 1914-1920 timeframe. Download it here, along with some designed posters and brochures that you can print out and distribute: Remembering WWI iPad and Android app | National Archives

Strategies for using content from the app and Historypin in the classroom

      • Digging even deeper, at a recent teacher workshop at UC Berkeley, teachers spent the day putting together lesson documentation for how to use the Remembering WWI app with their students, utilizing the inquiry-based strategies from California's new history and social science framework.
