Google and other companies filed suit in June 2013 against the U.S. government for the right to disclose more details on orders issued under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) and U.S. national security laws. In February 2014, the U.S. government approved an agreement permitting those companies to publish data about orders for the first time.
I recently discovered a secret/COMINT undated NSA document that was released in 2014, not through FOIA but rather through a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) Transparency Case. Is it possible to search through NARA's files (by topic) to see which were released in 2014 through a FISA transparency case?
Mr. Streifer,
NARA has not yet accessioned any FISA records.
That's why I filed a FOIA request with the NSA, just in case.
