Fairly self explanatory, I'm looking into how the New Deal grows the size of the US government and thought that this might help.

Dear Jasper de Linde,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) provides some online resources that you may find useful, including Federal Employment Reports and Historical Tables. You may wish to contact them directly for additional assistance.
We also located several additional online resources that may contain some relevant information, including Federal Workforce Statistics Sources: OPM and OMB and Historical Tables - OMB - The White House. More broadly, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics also provides Databases, Tables & Calculators by Subject that might be useful for your research.
Finally, we also searched WorldCat.org and located a number of resources related to the New Deal AND federal employment statistics that might be of interest to you. Your local librarian should be able to assist you with these and similar resources.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
