I provided Notary services for 2100+ real estate transactions.
The HUD-1 form was produced by the settlement/title company and then sent to lender (if there was a loan).
The signer would have been provided a copy as part of the documents.
To get a copy, check with your lender (if their was a loan) followed by the settlement company.
For a very limited types of transactions, a copy would be sent to HUD Housing and Urban Development. (This was a very rare type, I only did about 6 of these out of 2100+)
