I'm reposting an entry on NARA's Unwritten Record blog from Richard Green, who gives a great overview of the WWI series that have been especially digitized as part of the Wartime Films Project.

All of the NARA content we're adding into the Remembering WWI app are from the sources Richard mentions. This post will help give our audiences a better sense of the wider project the app falls under, and a newfound appreciation for all the hard work NARA's preservation teams accomplished during this massive undertaking.
