3 people found this helpfulHave you tried searching the catalog? https://catalog.archives.gov/
We don't have full-text search for everything, so in addition to "werewolf" and "vampire" you might want to try terms such as "supernatural" or "paranormal."
Happy hunting!

Re: I need governmental archives on REAL! Vampire and Werewolf sightings.
Michael Tomko Jul 14, 2017 11:19 AM (in response to Chris Knight)Dear supernatural,
This is a good question, because many of these realities unfortunately involve a criminal element or warfare, and various aspects of human behavior or mental illness. Behavioral intimidation of the enemy during warfare also has historic elements of the occult, myth and reality. I would suggest the electronic reading rooms of the FBI Vault, the CIA CRST (possible Stargate remote viewing files), Unit 731. and The Black Vault.

Re: I need governmental archives on REAL! Vampire and Werewolf sightings.
Research Services at the National ArchivesJul 14, 2017 3:02 PM (in response to Chris Knight)
4 people found this helpfulMr. Hunter,
Unfortunately most of our catalog records pertaining to “werewolf” concern a German propaganda and resistance campaign from 1944. Similarly “vampire” yields records concerning an experimental British jet aircraft from that same period. However, the catalog is constantly being added to as more records are processed, described, or scanned so we encourage you to periodically search. Since werewolves and vampires originate from Eastern European folk myths and we only have records of the US government, we're unlikely to have anything. We expect that the US intelligence agencies, e.g. FBI, CIA, have studied the paranormal but these units do not regularly transfer records to NARA.
Another possible source is the National Archives’ official magazine Prologue, where we would certainly publish a complete account of our findings should that occur. If a researcher first makes the discovery, I expect at least one major outlet will publish a story on their findings.
Outside of the National Archives it could be fruitful to consult the variety of nonfiction works concerning werewolves and vampires. This Western Washington University lib guide lists books that outline the anthropological aspects of werewolves and similar phenomena and these Scientific American and National Geographic pieces do likewise with the vampire. Whenever you read books or articles it never hurts to check the footnotes for possible leads into your own research.
Best of luck in your search.

Chris Knight Jul 17, 2017 1:21 PM (in response to Research Services at the National Archives)1 person found this helpfulTrue your right. But the government or who ever has the information favors keeping secrets vampires and werewolves exist among us the government knows it if scientist do have the proof we sure as hell won't know about it I know the government has proof and files on it I'm a supernatural hunter I'm not your average human being I wasn't born yesterday it's funny how slowly these movies have become very romantic and etc these movies do have one thing correct vampires are seductive creatures they take the form of a human but in the sight of blood they you know. The government has proof I know I think you should know UFOs aren't the only supernatural files they have. Everyone should be aware of it they have clearly manipulated the history of these creatures for centuries medically diagnosing it with porphyria , rabbies its the ultimate cover up. If the government kept aliens a secret our entire existence they can hide vampires and werewolves.
