Flickr style "justified layout" overview of images?

This is undoubtedly one of those "you wouldn't ask if you know how hard it would be" questions, but I'm wondering if it would be possible for the NARA catalog to incorporate the "Justified Layout" style of image display used by Flickr to maximize use of screen space when browsing (for example) NARA search results (see Explore | Flickr for an example of what "justified layout" means).  The NARA Citizen Archivist group National Archives Citizen Archivist Research | Flickr gives users a taste of combining that style of image browsing with catalog data, and to me it looks like such a feature would be an awesome way to explore the main NARA catalog.

It turns out Flickr has released the software they use for this as an liberally licensed open source npm javascript package:  Justified Layout by Flickr   Whether that's immediately useful to the NARA developers I don't know, but it seems like it would be an excellent feature to incorporate if it's technically feasible...
