Since the April 6th centenary of the US entry into WWI, we have made improvements and added new features to Remembering WWI, all based on feedback we received from teachers and museums during user testing. You can download the latest version for your Apple and Android tablets here.

The completed version of the app now includes:

      • Collections filtering by most popular, most recent, and alphabetical
      • Item filters for photos and films
      • A Topics section for educators
      • Updated interfaces for keyword searches and collection editing
      • All collections you create are private by default, which you can then choose to "Make public"
      • Double-tap images to bring them into slideshow mode
      • Download any photo you find in the app
      • Many new curated thematic collections from NARA focusing on women's suffrage, labor history during WWI, new weapons technology, and more.
