Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
According to Army disposition schedules, contracts prior to November 1966 were systematically destroyed by the Army once their administrative use ended. The National Archives has custody of correspondence between contractors and Army ordnance or quartermaster units, especially if there was a problem during production or with the contract. They rarely include copies of the contract as an enclosure or specific information concerning the contractor.
We searched the Access to Archival Databases (AAD) and located the Records of Prime Contracts Awarded by the Military Services and Agencies, 7/1/1965 - 6/30/1975 in the Records of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Record Group 330) that include 225 files for Pan American World Airways. These pertain to DOD contracts from FY 1966 through FY 1975. Please review the FAQs for more information.
We suggest reviewing the Pan American World Airways Records at the University of Miami Libraries Special Collections that may include the flight routes and contracts you seek. Many of these records have been digitized.
We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
