    Problems saving or reserving pages?

      Hi volunteers!

       

      In recent months we have occasionally heard from volunteers who were unable to work on a page due to a "reservation error" or who lost work in progress due to a page error. If this has happened to you please let us know about it!  We are currently investigating the problem, but need more information to determine exactly what is going on and how to fix it.

       

      If you experience issues saving or see a "reservation error" appear in a red band across the page, please let us know by posting in this thread or emailing crowd@loc.gov.  The following information would be helpful to us:

      • URL of the page you were on
      • Date/approximate time of the issue
      • What browser and type of device you were using
      • What specific actions you took or if there was something you tried to do but were unable
      • Take a screenshot of the error you see if possible!
