Seeking indexes to Record Group 407, WWII Operations Reports

    Luc van Rooi Newbie

Hello NARA, For research purposes we are looking for the US Army divisions Indexes for the divisions which were operative in the liberation of Holland in the 1944-1945 period. We know that there used to be paper indexes available at the Textual Reading Room of Archives II at College Park. The indexes are organized according to the old AG file numbers by order of precedance: theater, army group, army, corps, and division, with assigned divisional units filed under the division, and then non-divisional units organized by branch, cavalry, infantry, artillery, engineers, and etc. The indexes we are especially interested in are from the following divisions: 1st Infantry Division; 2nd Armored Division, 30th Infantry Division, 82nd Airborne Division, and 101st Airborne Division. Is it possible to receive these indexes via NARA contact services? Happy to hear from you!
