Your question is pretty broad. Are you looking for one person in particular, or something broader?

Luca Angeli Sep 21, 2016 5:21 PM (in response to Kelly Osborn)1 person found this helpfulI am trying to find the holdings and then cross them with a database of soldiers I am investigating. It is very rare to find ww1 soldiers pictures, so far I have found something in California (digitized by Ancestry) and in Masachussets (Boston Globe digitized by the State Library). I am trying to find more.

Ella Anderson Sep 23, 2020 5:19 PM (in response to Luca Angeli)Are you continuing to look for troop panoramic pictures for WWI?
I have several taken in Illinois. Specifically Knox County and Camp Grant in Rockford.
They are from my grandfathers' WWI service.
I have his military service record as well as his fathers' Civil War individual military record.
I also have WWII Illinois military draft/induction photo for my father along with several WWI panoramic photo's
from training camps. In addition I have snapshots of troops with natives, etc. from the Pacific theatre.
Also my late husbands' retired military records including WWII and Korean War service.
I am somewhat interested in finding a market for these items.

Re: World War 1 Soldier Pictures?
Mary Sholler Jun 13, 2017 7:37 AM (in response to Luca Angeli)I work in the California History Room at the Madera Library and I have several World War I photos, all of them are of local Indians who served. I also have a correspondence file of one of the soldiers who communicated with his mother during the time he served. On our website; www. californiahistoryroommadera.org, one or two of the photos is included in the Native American Collection, the rest I have on my computer that I need to upload to our site, but can share them with you via e-mail?
