I have photos of the rest camp in Calcutta in 1943 showing my father, as well as other soldiers, some named, most not. Thought I would post them to see if there are other photos floating around. I can only assume that since he landed in Calcutta in 1943, that his unit was sent to the rest camp since I can not find any reference to me ever being close to Calcutta again.
