4 people found this helpfulWe searched the index to the Missing Air Crew Reports (MACRs) and located a report which relates to the crash on April 8, 1944 and Ralph E. Fordyce - MACR number 3922.
As part of our on-going commitment to preserve our records, the National Archives entered into a partnership with Fold3 to digitize some of NARA's holdings. The MACRs are now available in digital form and can be searched and viewed online at http://go.fold3.com/. Fold3 is a subscription-based website, so there may be a fee to access the MACRs on Fold3 from your personal computer, but you may view the MACRs on the Fold3 website at any of NARA's facilities for free. For the nearest NARA location, please consult our website at http://www.archives.gov/locations/.
Or, if you are unable to access the MACRs via Fold3, you may order a copy from the microfiche through our website at: http://www.archives.gov/research/military/ww2/missing-air-crew-reports.html.
